All I can say is, "brrrrrrrrrrr!"
This Sunday, January 26, communion will be offered during worship. At 5:00, our annual Board Game Night will begin! Gather in the fellowship hall to chase away the winter blues and partake in some friendly competition. Everyone brings their favorite board/card games to play and a finger food to share. It is a great night for everyone and fun to find out who amongst us are ruthless euchre players--ha!
Saturday, Oct. 26, we will be holding workshop entitled "Recognizing Dementia with People in Your Lives and Church Family," in the Lower Room from 9-11 a.m. ICU members, Deaconesses, and Elders are encouraged to attend, but the event is open to the congregation. Refreshments will be served.
I think it's going to be a great weekend for Fall Camp, so keep everyone traveling to Templed Hills in your prayers.
This Sunday brings a Third Sunday Potluck following worship. Come and enjoy delicious food and great company. Bring a dish to share and your table settings. It sure beats waiting in line at a restaurant or making a sinkful of dirty dishes to do at your own home. The Brenn-Field service will be held at 6:00.
The Fellowship Committee will meet on Monday, 7:00 p.m.
Kid's Club and the choirs will meet at their usual times on Wednesday.
I am so excited that the Third Sunday Potlucks will resume this Sunday, September 15! If you haven't attended a potluck, now is your chance. Just bring a dish to share and your table settings. There is always a great variety of food. If you bring a dish that needs heated, just leave it in the kitchen with a note and the fellowship committee will take care of it. Coming to the potlucks is so much better than going home to cook or rushing to beat the lines at restaraunts. The fellowship committee hopes to see you there on Sunday!
