This week is flying by for me.  I can't believe it is time to talk about this Sunday already.

Sunday, January 19.  The Young Adult Sunday school class will begin a new, 6-week, study called, "Not a Fan."  The class would like to invite anyone interested in this study to join them. The Blanket+ offering will be taken during worship.  Offering envelopes will be available in the pews.  Third Sunday Potlucks resume, so plan to stay and enjoy lunch here.  Confirmation will meet at 5:00.  Youth Fellowship is scheduled for 6:00.

On Tuesday at 7:00 p.m., Rev. Gehres is offering a one-time overview of the Gospel of Matthew.  Matthew is the lectionary Gospel for the year, so this will be a one-and-out look at his Gospel as a whole, how it is presented, and its basic message from Matthew’s point of view.

The usual rehearsals and Kid's Club are on tap for Wednesday evening.

On Friday, the Confirmation class will attend a synagogue service at Temple Israel.

Other things worth noting:

Daughters Event tickets will be on sale before and after worship in the gathering area.  Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 ages 4-12, and ages 3 and under are free.  All of the baby bundle tickets have been taken off the clothesline, so THANK YOU for your donations.  Items can be placed in the box set up in the gathering area.

Next Sunday, the 26th, the annual board game night will be held in the fellowship hall at 5:00 p.m., so mark your calendars.  Bring your favorite table games and a finger food to share.  A good time is always had by all, and this a great way to kick some of the winter blues.

Have a wonderful weekend!
