I think I have caught up from being away from the office.  The big city was fun, but I am glad to be back home and in the usual routine.  I hope you all enjoyed the holidays and are ready for the new year.

This Sunday, Jan. 12, Sunday school will start at 9:00.  If you made a resolution to join a study, you are in luck, because we have Sunday school classes for all ages, that cover a variety of topics.  If you have any questions about which class would be right for you, please see Kaylene Holderman.  Worship begins at 10:15.  This Sunday, we will be collecting our annual Maryalice Blanket Offering. For almost 60 years, the UCC has partnered with other denominations to support the people-centered global relief and development ministries of the Church World Service.  CWS ministries are based on the belief that there is enough food, water, and justice for everyone in the world.  The Blanket Offering supports grassroots projects, education, and disaster relief.  Examples of CWS projects and tools include health care, microcredit, winterized family tents, clean-up and hygiene kits, schools, dams, fishing cooperatives, raised garden beds, and emergency food packages.  And blankets– domestically and internationally.  Please give generously!  Envelopes will be in the pews.  Coffee Hour will be held following worship.  Confirmation resumes at 12:00.  Youth Fellowship will meet at 6:00.

Women!--Look for the posters with the Womens Retreat information on them.  The retreat will be held Feb. 21-22, but the deadline to sign up is February 14.  Kaylene can answer all your questions, but it is guaranteed to be wonderful retreat.

Consistory meets Monday at 7:00.

Worship Committee meets Tuesday at 7:00.

The usual activities are scheduled for Wednesday night.

The Governance and Ministry Team will meet on Thursday at 6:00.

The newsletter deadline is next Friday.
