I'm not sure how August got here so fast, but it did, and there is a lot of fun to look forward to this month.
First is the annual pool party this Sunday, Aug. 6. We have Orr Pool reserved from 6-8 p.m. Everyone is invited, including friends! Bring a finger food to share if you like. And your goggles!
Also on Sunday, the sacrament of communion will be offered, home communion will be delivered...

Bible School will kick-off this Sunday, July 9, 6:00 p.m. in the green space! We will be playing outdoor games and having campfire snacks. The whole family is invited, as well as friends! Camp Compassion (this year's VBS theme) will run Monday through Wednesday, 6:15-8:15 p.m. Games, crafts, Bible stories and more will help teach about compassion and learning to love like God. This Sunday, July 2, the sacrament of communion will be offered during worship. The Parish Nurses will be monitoring blood pressures following the service at the back of the sanctuary.
The office will be closed Monday, July 3, and Tuesday, July 4.
Children ages 3 through those just finished with 4th grade are invited to attend Camp Compassion, this year's Vacation Bible School. Our campfire...

**Come support the Youth Mission trippers and chaperones tomorrow (Sat., June 17) at 8:45 a.m. in the church parking lot, as they depart for their mission trip to Webster Springs, VA. Lets see them off with a huge prayer circle, and lots of love and good wishes. Please pray for this group throughout the week. They return home on June 24.

Rev. Claire Bamberg from the Center for Progressive Renewal will be here over the weekend to conduct meetings and help lead worship on Sunday. During the coffee hour, Rev. Bamberg will be available to update and answer questions about the continuing work Christ Church is doing with CPR. All are invited to the coffee hour.
