I hope everyone has been able to enjoy this gorgeous weather we've been having, although I know our hearts are heavy for those dealing with the ongoing effects of the hurricane. We will do what we can and be thankful for what we have.
This Sunday, Sept. 8, the morning will kick-off at 9:00 with Sunday school. The Adventures In Faith class will be starting a new book series they wanted you all to know about. They will be studying the book by best selling Author Rob Bell. It is called, "LOVE WINS!"...a book about heaven, hell and the fate of every person who ever lived." It's a real page turner. The class meets in the Pole room downstairs, and everyone is invited to join them for some lively discussion as they delve into this thought provoking book. They have extra copies..come join them! After Sunday school, worship will begin at 10:15. A coffee hour in the Gathering Area will follow the service.
On Monday, Spiritual Council will meet at 6:30, with Consistory following at 7:00.
The Chancel Choir will rehearse on Wednesday at 7:30.
The Governance and Ministry committee meets at 6:00 on Thursday.
