Sunday school will begin at 9:00, this Sunday, Sept. 6. Worship will follow at 10:15, with the sacrament of communion. During the service we will be collecting our annual "That Seeds May Grow" offering. Due to printing problems, special offering envelopes for "Seeds" did not get included in the newsletter mailing. However, there will be envelopes in the pews or you can include it in your usual offering envelope (just mark it accordingly). The Parish Nurses will be stationed at the back of the sanctuary following worship to monitor blood pressures.
Monday is Labor Day, so the office will be closed, but Spiritual Council will meet at 7:00 p.m.
The Sarah Circle will resume meetings this Wednesday, Sept. 9, 1:30 p.m. at Marilyn Schantz's home. All women are invited to join this group. Contact Marilyn with any questions.
We are in need of volunteers to help in the fry wagon during the Wayne County Fair. 8th graders through adults can sign up for a shift. This is a fundraiser that benefits the youth mission trip fund. There is a sheet posted outside of the office with time slots that need to be filled.
Also outside of the office is a sign up sheet for the 2nd annual golf scramble. This event is open to everyone, of any golfing ability. Spend an afternoon on the links with your friends from Christ Church. More information is posted on the bulletin board.
