Happy September! September always seems to be one of the busiest months out of the year for me. At least we get to kick it off with a long Labor Day weekend.
This Sunday, September 4, Sunday school will begin at 9:00. During worship, communion will be served and the "That Seeds May Grow" special offering will be collected. This special offering will benefit two local seminary students. The Parish Nurses will be stationed at the back of the sanctuary following worship to monitor blood pressures.
The office will be closed on Monday.
The Bell Choir will resume rehearsals on Wednesday at 6:30. If you are interested in playing in the bell choir or being a sub, please see Nancy Hranko. The Chancel Choir rehearses at 7:30.
Lisa is looking for youth (grades 8 & up)/parents/mentors/youth supporters to volunteer to work in the Fry and Cheese Wagons at the Wayne County Fair. Dates needing to be filled are September 10, 11, & 12. Sign up for a four hour shift, either 2-6 p.m. or 6-10 p.m. This is a fundraiser for the youth mission fund. There is a sign-up sheet posted outside of the office or contact Lisa.
