This Sunday, September 13, we will welcome Rev. Dr. David Greenhaw to the pulpit. Rev. Greenhaw is an ordained minister of the United Church of Christ with joint partner standing with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). He serves as President and Professor of Preaching and Worship at Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. At 9:00 in the Parlor, Rev. Greenhaw will meet with anyone interested to discuss seminary education today and the future of worship and church life in mainline churches. Tables have been reserved at the community room in Buehler's for lunch with Rev. Greenhaw, so the opportunity to talk with him further is open to everyone. If you choose not to pursue the lunch option, come on down to the fellowship hall for coffee hour following worship.
Consistory meets on Monday, 7:00 p.m.
The Golden Singles (formerly New Chapter widows group) will meet at Dravenstott's on Tuesday, 11:30.
The Chancel Choir will rehearse Wednesday, 7:30 p.m.
The newsletter deadline is next Friday, Sept. 18.
