The calendar for August is already filling up here at Christ Church. There are lots of great things on the horizon, but let's chat about the upcoming week.
Sunday, August 7, the sacrament of communion will be offered. Home communion will be served at 1:00 p.m. Have your blood pressure monitored by the Parish Nurses after worship at the back of the sanctuary. The annual Pool Party will be held from 6-8 pm at Orr Pool. This is always a fun night. Everyone is welcome, even if you don't like to swim. There are beach chairs to relax in and friends to chat with. Invite your friends and bring a finger food to share.
On Monday, Spiritual Council and Consistory meet.
The Youth Ministries Council will meet on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
Lynette Marr, Linda McHenry, and Lakalynn Arnold are schdeduling a bus trip to Williamsburg and would like to invite Christ Church members to join them. Lynette will serve as personal tourguide of this trip. Here are the details:
