This Sunday, August 14, the youth who are attending "The Great Summer Serve" will meet in the church parking lot at 8:30 a.m. for a day of worship, mission, and fellowship. Worship at Christ Church will begin at 10:15. During worship the sacrament of baptism will take place. Following worship coffee hour will be held in the gathering area.
The Stewardship Ministry Team will meet on Monday at 7:00 p.m.
The Golden Singles will hold their monthly luncheon on Tuesday at 11:30.
Kid's Club members and their chaperones are invited to go on a trip to the Akron Zoo on Wednesday. Meet in the church parking lot at 10:00, and pack a lunch.
Next Friday is the newsletter deadline.
Looking ahead to Sunday, Aug. 21: It is Rally Day, Outdoor Worship, and the Church Picnic. Rally Day begins at 9:00. Outdoor worship will be held under the big tent in the green space. Chairs will be set up, but feel free to bring your own. The Worship committee will be providing meat, beverages, and dessert for the picnic, but is asking that everyone bring a side dish to share. The 3rd Annual All-Church Golf Outing will be held at the Pines at 1:00. If you would like to participate, please contact Nancy Hranko or Erik McGrew. All ages and skill levels are welcome.
