Chat - 7/7/16

This Sunday, July 10, the sacrament of communion will be offered during worship.  A coffee hour will follow the service in the fellowship hall.  We will kick-off this year's Vacation Bible School at 6:00 p.m. in the green space.  Faith Olympics is the theme this year, and we will go for the gold with silly Olympic games.  The whole family is invited to the kick-off event.

On Monday, Spiritual Council (6:00) and Consistory (7:00) will meet.  Bible schoolers will meet at 6:15 in the gathering area and learn about Esther, a very brave woman who saved her people.

Tuesday, Bible school will focus on Ruth and her strength and loyalty, starting at 6:15.

Job and his perserverance and faithfulness will be the focus of VBS on Wednesday.

As always, friends are welcome to attend Bible school!

The Pastoral Relations Committee meets on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

The office will be closed on Friday, as I am leaving with many others for the Intergenerational Mission Trip to work with the JOSHUA program in Steubenville.  Prayers for a safe weekend would be appreciated.
