Vacation Bible School had ended and was a total success! Thanks to all who volunteered their time and talents in various ways. The kids had a blast and learned how to be bold, brave, and kind.
This Sunday, July 21, a Listening Session will be held at 9:00 a.m. in the Parlor. The Governance and Ministry Team would like to hear your opinions about our current governing system, so changes and revisions can be made. Following worship, our Annual Congregational Meeting will take place. After business has been conducted, a coffee hour will be set out in the Gathering Area.
The newsletter deadline is next Friday, July 26.
Coming Up!!--150th Anniversary Picnic and Games at Silver Creek Metro Park:
When: Sunday, Aug. 4
Time: 3-8 p.m.
What: a time to gather and enjoy an afternoon/evening of swimming, kayaking, lawn games & fellowship!
Food?: bring a snack to share and your own drinks. The pavilion we have reserved has electrical outlets for crockpots, etc., and grills (bring your own meat and charcoal if you want to grill).
Anything Else?: Bring your lawn chairs, towels, sunscreen, lawn games, frisbees, volleyballs, etc. AND shoes to wear in the water (there are shells that could scratch the bottom of your feet)!
