We will welcome in June this Sunday with the sacrament of commuion, the Parish Nurses monitoring blood pressures, and a mission trip meeting following the service.
On Monday, Spiritual Council and Christian Ed. will meet at 7:00.
The Pastoral Relations committee meets on Tuesday, 7: 00.
Also on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the whole month of June: It's once again time to start working on the fourth of July float! Last year's float was epic and plans are in the workds for an even more amzing float this year and we need your help! Every Tuesday and Thursday night for the month of June we will plan to gather at the church from 6-9 p.m. Come for a little while or stay the whole time, any and all help is appreciated! You do not need to be creative or artistic to help. All ages are welcome, there is something to do for everyone! Contact Michael Holderman or Kaylene Biddle with any questions. We hope to see you there!
Don't forget about Zumba on Saturdays at 9:30!
We have donation boxes set up in the Gathering Area for parade candy, sewing supplies, and hygiene kits. If you are out and about this weekend, pick up an item or two to help with these projects and missions.
"Take Out Church" boxes are available in the Gathering Area if you did not get one last Sunday. More individual "Flat Jesus" are also available if you don't need a whole box, but would like to get in on the fun of travelling and taking pictures with him during the summer. I can't wait to see everyone's pictures!
Christ Church has the following position open: Consistory has approved filling the vacant Christian Education Coordinator position. The re-vamped position will be called "Faith Formation and Marketing Coordinator." A committee has been formed that will conduct the search process. This job will be approximately 20 hours per week. A detailed job description has been formulated and is available for interested candidates. The position will be advertised within our church family first before opening it up to the outside.
