It is going to be a full and fabulous Sunday morning at Christ Church this week. Sunday school will begin at 9:00. Worship follows at 10:15. We will be welcoming new members into the congregation and one of our newest additions will be baptized (cue the happy tears as we sing "Child of Blessing"). A congregational meeting will be held immediately after the service, with the main business of elections. Sunday evening Confirmation 2 and parents will work on stoles at 5:00, Youth Fellowship will meet at 6:00, and a Costa Rica mission trip meeting will be held at 7:00.
On Monday the Care Ministries Cabinet meets at 1:00. Spiritual Council is scheduled for 7:00.
Carol Choir will rehearse at 4:30 on Wednesday. A special Kid's Club Family Night is scheduled for 5:15. Please RSVP to the office by Monday if you will be attending. The Chancel Choir rehearses at 7:30.
It is not too late to RSVP to the Women Reaching Out Annual Banquet being held here on Friday, May 9, at noon. More information is posted on the office bulletin board.
Our New Jersey mission trippers will depart at 7:00 a.m. this Sunday. Please keep them in your prayers this coming week as they travel and work.
