In case you missed the email that went out yesterday, I would like to let you know about our secret plan to surprise our graduating senior, Parker Duxbury, tomorrow night! This year’s graduating high school seniors aren’t able to celebrate their last year of high school in a traditional way.  There will be no prom, spring sports, or in-person graduation.  However, that doesn’t mean we can’t show our love to our graduating senior in a different way. The youth at Christ Church want to celebrate our high school senior, Parker, and we want to invite the whole congregation to join us. Tomorrow, Friday, May 1st at 6:30pm, meet in the Christ UCC parking lot to participate in our celebration parade!  Please stay in your cars.  We will then parade to the Duxbury home and drive by while honking and waving.  Feel free to make signs, bring packaged snacks to deliver, and cards.  There will be a bin at the end of their driveway to drop off cards and snacks. It’s a surprise, he has no idea we are coming.  We hope you’ll join us in this fun celebration!

I hope you are hanging in there.  Remember, I have a list of folks willing to grocery shop for anyone who needs it.  Call the office and I will make arrangements.  Thanks to everyone for the encouraging words about our online worship services--we are glad you are watching!
