This is not an April Fool's joke--tomorrow night (Saturday) at 7:00 p.m. the Akron University Steel Drum Band will be live and in concert in the sanctuary! If you miss the band's performance at the Tea Party, a second opportunity awaits you. This concert is open to public. A free-will offering will be taken and will benefit The American Cancer Society. Grab your friends and family, and enjoy an evening of steel drum magic.
On Sunday, the Parish Nurses will monitor blood pressures after worship at the back of the sanctuary. Confirmation II will meet to bake bread at 5:00. Youth Fellowship will gather at 6:00 p.m.
The Executive committee will meet on Monday at 6:00.
Pastor Gehres will be leading a special study on the "Ragman" story on Tuesday at 7:00. All are invited to attend.
All of the choirs will rehearse on Wednesday. Also, on Wednesday, Margaret Maupin and Katherine Blasingame will be leading a second Preschool Party. This event is open to all children preschool age and younger. It promises to be an "egg-citing" event, so bring your littles and invite their friends to join Margaret and Katherine.
