We are excited to have Rebecca Mularski, Eden Seminary student, with us this Sunday, March 22, to lead us in worship. Everyone is invited to meet with Rebecca during the 9:00 hour to answer questions and talk briefly about Eden and her recent experiences. The Worship committee will meet following the service.
The usual Wednesday night activities are scheduled next week. It's the last Kid's Club of the year and also a Family Night. A big thank you goes to everyone that helped make Kid's Club a success this year! I know the kids had a great time and learned a lot.
The Lenten study will be held next Thursday, 7:00 p.m.
A reminder for Youth Fellowship/Youth & Mentor pairs: Lisa has reserved lanes at Parkview for bowling on Sunday, March 29, 2:00 p.m. The cost is $5. Please RSVP to her by this Sunday. March 22, if you are planning to attend. Also, the sign-up deadline for the Bullying Workshop (Youth Fellowship) is this Sunday. A sign-up sheet is posted on the office bulletin board. The event is free.
One more thing: People have been asking me how they can listen to Pastor Gehres's sermons here on the website. Just click on "Christ Church" at the top of this page in the header. That will take you to the home page. Scroll down to the box labeled "Media" and click it. Then scroll down until you see the sermon you want to listen to. I try to keep the most recent 3 or 4 sermons on the website. If you would like a CD or DVD of older services, just let me know.
Pictures: This week's last, regular night of Kid's Club. The younger group played Bible Bowling, and the older group made a poster/collage of their favorite Kid's Club memories from the year. The poster will be displayed in the gathering area on Sunday, so check it out!
