Happy New Year to All! I am looking forward to another year of working here at Christ Church. What a blessing this job has been, and I look forward to what 2016 has in store for us.
The Youth and Mentors will be kicking off the New Year right with their annual retreat on Friday and Saturday at Pilgrim Hills. If you are attending, meet in the church parking lot tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. to carpool.
Sunday school and worship will begin at their usual times on Sunday. There will be a coffee hour in the fellowship hall following worship. Stop down for refreshments and cathcing up with friends before heading home.
Tickets ($8 adults, $5 ages 4-12) for the Daughters Dinner will be on sale before and after worship this Sunday! The event will be held on Saturday, February 6, 5:00 p.m. The Fellowship Committee is excited about this year's plans and hopes that you invite all the special women in your life to join them in celebration and fellowship. Baby Bundles for CAMO will once again be assembled. Items needed are hanging in the gathering area. If you are able to make a donation it would be greatly appreciated.
The Care Ministries Cabinet will meet on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Consistory meets at 7:00 p.m.
The Green Team will hold a meeting on Tuesday, 7:00 p.m.
The monthly meeting of the Sarah Circle will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Kid's Club and the choirs will meet at their usual times.
