I hope everyone's new year is off to a good start, albeit a cold one.
This Sunday, January 8, everyone is invited to join the adult Sunday school classes in the Lower Room for the first meeting of the White Privilege study at 9:00. You can learn more about this study here on the website or in the January newsletter. Worship will begin at 10:15. The Chancel and Carol choirs will be combining for the anthem during the service. A coffee hour will be held following worship in the fellowship hall. Confirmation will meet at 5:00, with Youth Fellowship following at 6:00.
Spiritual Council and Consistory will meet on Monday. They were scheduled to meet at 5:30 & 6:30, respectively, and I have not received word that the times have changed.
The Fellowship Committee will hold a meeting on Tuesday, 6:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, Kid's Club will meet at 5:15, and choirs will rehearse at their usual times. A first-time preschoolers event will be held from 6:00-6:45 in the nursery. Children preschool age or younger are invited to come to this event lead by Margaret Maupin and Katherine Blasingame.
The Pastoral Relations Commitee will meet on Thursday at 6:30.
