This Sunday, Dec. 7, is the annual Hanging of the Greens service.  Come prepared for a time of special music, readings, and scripture as this service reminds us of the Advent preparing to which we are called.  Following worship, the Parish Nurses will be stationed at the back of the sanctuary to monitor blood pressures.  Youth Fellowship will meet at Alice Noble Ice Arena at 3:15 for a few hours of skating fun.  Please contact Lisa Yeagley, Matt Baldwin, or Erik McGrew if you need a ride.  Confirmation will meet at 6:00.

Consistory will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

The choirs will meet at their usual times on Wednesday.  The Carol Choir/Kid's Club will rehearse for the Christmas program from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Other important things to note:

• Angel tree gifts need to be returned this Sunday!  Thank you to everyone who took a tag and purchased gifts.  The generosity of this congregation never ceases to amaze me.
• December 14th, will be a busy morning at Christ Church.  The Sunday school breakfast begins at 8:45 in fellowship hall, with the program starting around 9:15 in the sanctuary.  Following worship, the annual cookie exchange/coffee hour will be held in fellowship hall.  The Fellowship committee is hoping for a big turn out and a variety cookies for this event.  Get your rolling pins ready!
• I am in need of one or two volunteers to help fold bulletins on Friday mornings at 10:30 on a weekly basis.  If you are interested, please contact me.
