Chat - 11/6/20

As our stewardship campaign continues, I want to direct your attention to the insert attached and also to this fun "infomercial" explaining the different ways you can tithe here at Christ Church.  This video was shot by our Faith Formation & Marketing coordinator and you will see a couple of familiar faces in it.  Check it out!  There will also be another stewardship testimonial in this Sunday's service.

Our Cornucopia offering is being collected throughout November, and will benefit Habitat for Humanity's Faith Build here in Wayne County.  Anna Davidson and Joe Hranko have already put in man hours on this build by helping to install insulation.  Our goal is $3,500, which covers the cost of all the insulation. I hope to have a video to show you about this build sometime next week.

Looking ahead:

  • Sunday, Nov. 22, is Consecration Sunday and also our first Parking Lot Worship Service.  Bring your Estimate of Giving Cards with you, and at some point during the service you will be asked to bring those forward (in a safe, social distancing way).  We will also have the Angel Tree set up right outside of the Gathering Area, so you will also be able to grab a tag that morning.
  • Sunday, Nov. 29, is our Zoom Worship. It will be Hanging of the Greens like we've never done before.  Remember, if you would like to receive an at home wreath or garland kit, the sign-up deadline is today.  Here is the link to do that: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeqWU2nmkK8pMkooZkYYBG111TF3rW8zUxoRSgtwf3ugoCFYg/viewform

I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.  Thinking of you!
