Sunday school and worship begin at their usual times this Sunday, October 19. Following worship a Third Sunday Potluck will be held in the fellowship hall. Don't forget that the Fellowship committee can make sure that the food for the potluck is cooked or put together in time to be served. Just leave a note with directions, and they will make sure it is prepared. How's that for service? The Shrimp Boil will be held at 5:00 p.m. Youth Fellowship will meet at 6:00 at the church. They will walk to DQ for ice cream and then return to the church for games and fellowship. As always friends are invited!
The Stewardship Ministry Team will meet on Monday at 7:00 p.m.
The newly formed widows' group (New Chapter group) will meet at Dravenstott's on Tuesday, 11:30 a.m.
The choirs will rehearse at their normal times on Wednesday. Kid's Club meets at 5:15. The Deaconesses will hold a meeting at 7:00.
The newsletter deadline is next Friday.
The Fellowship Committee would also like to ask you to mark your calendars for the all-church Halloween party on November 2, 5:00 p.m. This event is open to everyone. There will be refreshments, trick-or-treating through the halls, games, and a costume contest. We invite you to pass out candy to our littlest ghosts and goblins. If you are unable to attend in person, but would like to donate a bag of candy, it can be dropped off in the office. The Fellowship committee is excited about this festive, fun, fall activity!
