Two things I need to tell you about that are going on Saturday, Oct. 3, before I get to Sunday at Christ Church. 1) The Orrville High School Earth Science Club is having a Recycle and Shred Drive from 9-12, at the OHS parking lot. They will accept anything paper/fiber (bundled separate)--newspapers, magazines, books, cardboard, etc., computers and electronics – anything that plugs into/or is an accessory to a computer, cell phones or other misc. electronics. They will accepts TV's up to 32" with a $5 donation. There will also be FREE shredding. 2) After you are done recycling and shredding, stop by the church for the annual bratwurst and sauerkraut sale. The grill will be fired up and ready to go from 10:30-2:00. All proceeds will benefit disaster relief.
On Sunday, the Endowment committee will meet at 9:00. The sacrament of communion will be offered during worship at 10:15. Following worship, the Relay for Life team will hold a meeting in the conference room. The team welcomes anyone interested to join them for this meeting. They would love to have some new members. Also, Youth Fellowship will meet for lunch and then head out to the ropes course. Remember to have your waiver form signed and with you. Home Communion will be delivered at 1:00.
On Monday, Spiritual Council meets at 7:00.
Wednesday is the first Kid's Club of the year, and it's a family night! Please let Lisa know how many will be attending by Sunday, so enough food will be prepared. Kid's Club will begin at 5:15, right after Carol choir which rehearses at 4:30. The Chancel choir rehearses at 7:30.
