Chat - 6/29/30

Let's start off the Chat with an update on the float and parade candy: The float crew will be taking the night off tonight (Friday, June 29), but will be back in action tomorrow (Saturday, June 30) starting at 9:00 a.m.  They plan on being here all day tomorrow, so volunteers please come when you can to help.  The big day is next Tuesday!  Volunteers are needed during the day on Tuesday to help get the float all ready to go.  It needs to be at the line up by 5:00 p.m.  A big thank you goes to everyone that has already volunteered time to help.  Candy donations or monetary donations to purchase candy for the parade will be collected through Monday.

Christ Church will be on center stage next week with the parade and festivities. If you have 20 minutes to walk the grounds and pull a weed, or pick up some trash, or sweep a sidewalk, or sweep the parking lot curbs, this would all go a long way.  Let's keep our church looking beautiful and welcoming.

The Green Team would like to remind everyone of the Farmer's Market being held downtown on Saturday (across from the depot)  from 9-12 noon. Think Global, Buy Local.  Also at the market will be the Orrville Earth Science Club Lavender Fundraiser.  Bundles, sachets, fire starters and more will be for sale and all proceeds go directly to the ESC. Please tell a friend and we cannot wait to see you there!

Christ Church will welcome Rev. Richard Beck to the pulpit on Sunday, July 1, 10:15 a.m.  The Parish Nurses will monitor blood pressures following the service.

Spiritual Council meets on Monday at 7:00 p.m.

The office will be closed on Wednesday.

Don't forget, Vacation Bible School registration is now open at https://vbspro.events/p/events/4bad0b   We are hoping for a record turn out, so invite your friends!

Yep, this is going to be on the float, and that's only the tip of the iceberg!
