Chat - 6/26/14

This Sunday, June 29 (where did May and June go?), the morning will begin with Pastor Gehres holding one more parent meeting regarding the youth coordinator position at 9:00.  If you didn't make it to one of the previous meetings and would like to give your input, or if you did attend one of the previous meetings and have more thoughts to share, you are welcome to come.  Worship will begin at 10:15.  The New Jersey mission trippers will be leading us in worship, and then they invite everyone down to fellowship hall following the service for a special coffee hour.  You will have the opportunity to enjoy refreshments, view a slideshow of their trip, and ask questions.  Make sure to come back at 6:30 p.m. for the Ice Cream Social!  The fellowship committee will have ice cream with all the toppings set up under the ramp in the shade.  Bring your lawn chairs and plan to sit back and relax before the festivities of the 4th begin.  Cornhole games will be set up, and there will be bubbles and chalk for the kids.

The rest of the week looks pretty quiet.  The office will be closed on Tuesday and Friday next week.

Vacation Bible School will run July 14-16.  A splash park kick-off is being planned for the 13th.  You can start registering your child(ren) now!

• Wash cloths in cold water and only when you have full load.
• Reverse your ceiling fans in the Spring- this helps circulate cool air downward.
