Since we are entering the season of Lent, we're putting together some awesome "Lent At Home" kits for you that you won't want to miss! For Lent 2021, households can sign up to receive a free kit that will include a variety of activities people of all ages can use to observe Lent, Holy Week, and Easter at home. These kits are designed to be used intergenerationally. Households of all shapes and sizes can participate. We will be dropping off kits to singles, couples, and families with children and youth who complete the form below. Please sign up by Sunday February 7th to receive your kit! (Families with children attending kids club this year will automatically be receiving the kit and do not need to complete the form.) https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSef5N86PgUGsfgyw3YJP4i0ef3_o4cQN3qpTaGORwYWZU39Vw/viewform?fbclid=IwAR0F4iET0FueYHZXJEuKP7o8e38XGOeApZsxZhCKKdjOoYF1J2izZuJUd4s

During the month of February we have two mission opportunities in which to participate:

  1. In the past, Christ Church has partnered with Central American Medical Outreach (CAMO) on various projects.  This month CAMO is asking us to "Give a Bucket of Care." Each bucket will contain: 2 top (flat) twin or full sheets, 2 bath towels, 2 combs, 2 sets of reusable plates and cups, 1 frying pan (10" or 12"). Gently used, undamaged items are acceptable. Extra towels and sheets are appreciated. We will be collecting these items through February. We have at least 20 buckets to fill. Donations can be dropped off at the church. Thank you for your donations.  Please Note: Kathy Tschiegg, founder of CAMO, will be interviewed on local radio WQKT (104.5 FM) this Sunday, Februar 7, at 7:05 AM.
  2. February's Special Offering (the Love Offering) willl be directed to OneEighty.  Many are struggling during this continued difficult time. Prayerfully consider directing a donation to this local area support agency. If you are not familiar with what OneEighty offers to the Wayne County Community, here is the link to their website:  https://www.one-eighty.org/about-us

Ladies, don't forget to RSVP to the office or Kaylene Holderman for Women's Game Night on February 19.  Laughs and smiling faces are promised!

Have you been "Love Connected," yet?  Snap a picture of your door for us to share!  Remember to leave at least one heart on your door, so everyone knows you've been connected, and spread the love!
