Happy February, everyone! This Sunday, Feb. 3, we will be installing Pastor Bone as our Senior Minister. What a wonderful way to start the month! We look forward to having Rev. Nayiri Karjian, General Minister of the Living Water Association (EOA/WRA) to install Pastor Mike and give the sermon. The sacrament of communion will also be offered. Following worship, a reception to officially welcome and celebrate with Pastor Mike and family will be held in the Fellowship Hall.
Also on Sunday, the Parish Nurses will monitor blood pressures after the service, in the back of the sanctuary. Take advantage of this ministry! Home Communion will be delivered at 1:00. Confirmation will meet at 5:00. Youth Fellowship will have a Super Bowl party at the Ayers' house from 6-8 p.m.
Spiritual Council will meet on Monday, 7:00 p.m.
Pastoral Relations committee has a meeting on Tuesday, 7:00 p.m.
The usual Wednesday night activities are on tap as long as the weather cooperates! Pastor Mike will hold the Beginnings session at 5:15 p.m. in the Parlor. A light supper will be provided, and all are welcome.
Don't forget Zumba with Zara starts tomorrow (Saturday, Feb. 2) at 9:30 a.m. This weekly class will be held every Saturday in the Fellowship Hall, and is open to the community. Christ Church is sponsoring "Zumba On Us." Take a copy of the most recent Sunday bulletin as a "ticket" to participate. Contact the office with any questions.
