It's going to be a busy, but fun-filled day at Christ Church this Sunday, Dec. 16.  The festivities begin at 8:45 a.m. with a breakfast.  All are invited for a full breakfast of egg casseroles, muffins, fruit, and more.  After filling our bellies for the first time that day, we will congregate in the sanctuary at 9:30 for the Sunday School Christmas Program. Worship will be held at 10:15, where we celebrate the Third Sunday in Advent.  After worship, our Annual Cookie Exchange will be held in the Fellowship Hall where we fill our tummies for the second time.  You do not have to bring cookies to enjoy the fellowship and sweet treats.  Come, have a cup of hot chocolate, a cookie or two, and then make a tray to take home and enjoy throughout the week.  If you are bringing cookies to share you can drop them off in the Conference Room before worship.  Sunday evening we will lead a short service of Scripture and hymns at Brenn-Field.  Anyone interested in participating is asked to meet at Brenn-Field at 5:50 p.m.  After the service, we will split into groups and go caroling to some of church friends and family.  We will meet after caroling in the Fellowship Hall where we will indulge in more goodies for the third time.  Bring a finger food to share and any board or card games to play.  The church will be open by 5:40 if you would like to drop your food off first or to carpool to Brenn-Field.

Also on Sunday, the Annual Congregational Budget Meeting will be held at the end of worship.  Copies of the proposed 2019 budget will be available at the sanctuary entrances.

One more note for Sunday: if you are sharing your gift of music during one of our Christmas Eve services, please let John Weyrauch know Sunday, so bulletins can be finalized.

The Bridging Team will meet on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Kid's Club and the choirs will meet at their usual times on Wednesday.

If you would like to submit a newsletter article for January, please give the information to me by Tuesday.
