The Third Sunday Potlucks resume this Sunday, January 19, following a holiday hiatus!  The Fellowship Committee would love to start the new year with a big turn out, so crack open your church cookbooks you got for Christmas and join us!  Bring a dish to share and your table settings.  Of course before the Potluck, Sunday school and worship will be held.

On Monday, the Care Ministries Cabinet will meet at 1:00, and Christian Ed. meets at 7:00.

Wednesday night brings the usual activities at the usual times, with the addition of a Pastoral Relations committee meeting at 6:30.

Confirmation will take a field trip to Temple Israel next Friday.  Meet in the parking lot at 5:15.

Please note:

  • This year's Womens Retreat will be held on February 21-22, at Templed Hills.  "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" is the theme.  What does it mean to be a good Christian neighbor?  We will delve into that topic as well as spend time relaxing, laughing, and hanging out with our church family.  A sign-up sheet is posted on the office bulletin board.  See Kaylene Holderman with any questions.

Two events to be aware of for the following Sunday, January 26:

  1. There will be an intergenerational mission trip meeting following worship on January 26th. We will be going to Koinonia Farm in Americas, Georgia, the birth place of Habitat for Humanity. If you are interested in going and are unable to attend the meeting, please see Kaylene Holderman.

  2. All-Church Game Night at the Orrville Boys and Girls Club from 4-7pm!  We had so much fun last year!  There is something for everyone--physical games to shake off some cooped up winter energy, to card and board games for a little intellectual stimulation.  Bring a snack to share and your favorite game.
