Well, we are halfway through January already. Spring will be here before we know it!
Don't forget this Sunday, January 18, is the Blanket Sunday offering. Per usual, there will be a skit presented at the beginning of the service to highlight this offering and why it's important. A Third Sunday Potluck will be held following worship in the fellowship hall. Bring a dish to share and your table settings. Confirmation will meet at 5:00. Youth Fellowship--meet at the old gym at Orrville High School, 6-8 p.m.! Drop off and pick up will be at the high school. Enter the doors marked "gym" off of the parking lot. There will be no dinner. Invite your friends--I hear a game of dodgeball is in the works!
The Green Team and Christian Ed. will meet on Monday at 7:00 p.m.
Kid's Club and choir rehearsals are scheduled for their usual times on Wednesday.
The Youth Council will meet on Thursday, 6:00 p.m.
The Women's Retreat and newsletter deadline are next Friday.
Ladies, don't forget to buy your tickets to the Daughters Dinner being held on Feb. 7, 5:00. A table will be set up in the gathering area and you can purchase them ($8 adult, $5 ages 4-12) before or after worship. The Fellowship Committee does have a new menu planned, but the fun will remain the same! The committee is very excited about this event, so invite the women in your life to join you. Also, there are still tags to be taken for the CAMO Baby Bundles. The committee has a goal of assembling 30 bundles this year. A box is set up in the gathering area to drop of the donated items needed. Thank you for supporting this mission.
