Chat - 11/20/20

Rain or shine, we will hold our first Drive-In Parking Lot Service this Sunday, Nov. 22, at 10:15 a.m.  Just drive on in, pick a parking spot, and tune your radio to 89.5FM.  Bulletins will be passed out as you enter.  Don't forget to bring your Estimate of Giving cards as it is also Consecration Sunday.  This will be a new experience, but it will be nice to "gather" together as safely as possible.  I would like to encourage you to call someone who you think might not get these reminders via email and Facebook, and remind/invite them to join us on Sunday.

While you are here on Sunday, you can drive or walk up to the Gathering Area doors to pick an Angel Tree tag, your Home Greening Kit if you pre-ordered one, and adult Advent devotionals and Family Advent Kits will be available to anyone who would like one.

Just a reminder that we will continue to collect the Cornucopia Offering throughout November, which benefits the Wayne County Habitat for Humanity 2020 Faith Build Insulation Goal. Our goal is $3,500.  I don't have a current figure on where we stand right now, but anything above and beyond our goal would be amazing.

Although there is no "Home for the Holidays" in Orrville this year, we will still have our Living Nativity on Friday, Nov. 27, from 6-8p.m.  So if you are looking for something to do, drive by during that time!

We received word that Community Action has started a new Senior Outreach Program.  Do you or a loved one, aged 60 or older, have any needs that are not being met? Not sure where to look or who to call?  Community Action might be able to help.  They can connect you with services related to meals, housing, transportation, health care, overall well-being and much more.  For more information call Kimberlee Sheller at 330-264-8677.
