Bye, bye October! I can't believe we will be turning the calendars over to November tomorrow! Where is the time going? At least we will gain an extra hour this weekend, as Daylight Savings Time ends. Be sure to set your clocks back an hour before bed on Saturday night!
During worship this Sunday, November 3, the sacrament of communion will be offered. The Parish Nurses will be stationed at the back of the sanctuary following the service to monitor blood pressures. Confirmation will meet at 5:00, with Youth Fellowship following at 6:00.
On Monday, the Care Ministries Cabinet convenes for the quarterly meeting at 1:00 p.m. Spiritual Council meets at 7:00 p.m.
The Fellowship Committee will finalize some plans during a meeting on Tuesday, 7:00 p.m.
It's a Family Night at Kid's Club on Wednesday. Please RSVP to Sharon or the office how many family members will be attending by Monday so enough food will be prepared. The choirs will be rehearsing at their usual times. The Green Team will meet at 6:30.
Don't forget to purchase your Relay for Life Gerber Chicken Dinner tickets following worship on Sunday. The dinner is scheduled for Sat., Nov. 9, 4:30-6:30.
I hope you don't get blown away trick-or-treating tonight!
Another Rake & Run has been scheduled for Nov. 10, following worship. We'll be heading back to the same houses. Extra helping hands would be appreciated!
