The Outdoor Worship and Picnic will be on Sunday August 26th. Chairs will be set up under the big tent in the green space, but fee free to bring you own lawn chair. Please plan on staying for the Annual Church Picnic following the service. Worship Committee will be grilling Brats and Hot Dogs and providing Ice Cream with all the toppings as well as table service. Please bring a side dish to share.
If you have not yet picked up your container for Water Communion Sunday they are still available in the gathering area. The water can be from anywhere that you have been, even if you haven’t traveled this summer and have just had a “Staycation.”
Bring some tap water, there’s the creek at Orr Park, the local swimming pool, the puddle in your back yard! We want this to be a time where we can all come back together after being away for the summer and share our stories. There will be a time during the service when the water will be collected and blessed. We will then sterilize it and save it to be used for baptisms during the coming year.
