The Spring Gathering of the Intentional Caring Unit is set for Saturday, April 14, 9:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. This year our program will include information on nutrition and what we as ICU partners should look for as we make contact with those whom we call or visit. Our own Julie Finney, Nutrition Manager at Mercy Medical Center, a Ministry of the Sisters of Charity Health System will be our presenter.
Julie has letters after her name: MS, RD, LD. They indicate Master of Science, Registered Dietician, Licensed Dietician. Julie also works with the Friendship Meals program served here at Christ Church on Thursday nights.
Our program will also include information on safety in the home, hazards to be avoided. This by our own Pat Saurer, RN.
You need not be a member of the ICU to attend this gathering. All are welcome!
