Pentecost is this Sunday, May 15, and there is a lot happening at Christ Church. During worship, we will collect the Spiritual Gifts Offering. The Spiritual Gifts list was sent with the newsletter, but extra copies will be available Sunday at the sanctuary entrances. It is very helpful to staff and committee chairs to have these lists, so please take the time to fill them out and bring them...

This Sunday, May 8, the Youth Bell Choir will rehearse at 9:00 a.m. During worship, the SARA special offering will be collected. The Mission Committee's goal is to collect $2,000 from this offering to pay the full, yearly salary of one of the doctors working in the Ukraine.
Consistory will meet on Monday night at 7:00, and the Chancel Choir rehearses on Wednesday at 7:30.

We will welcome May this Sunday with the sacrament of communion during worship. The youth bell choir will practice at 9:00. The Parish Nurses will be stationed at the back of the sanctuary following the service to monitor blood pressures. Youth Fellowship will meet at 6:00.
On Monday, the Care Ministries Cabinet will meet at 1:00 in the Conference Room. Spiritual Council will meet at 7:00....

At 9:15, this Sunday, April 24, everyone is invited to attend a meeting in the Parlor to discuss the proposed Christ Church "Welcome Statement." A copy of the proposed statement can be found at the sanctuary entrances. Also on Sunday, Tupperware, serving dishes, etc. from various dinners will be set out on the kitchen counter to be claimed by their rightful owners. Stop down and see if...

Everyone I have been talking to is telling me how busy this upcoming weekend is going to be for them. Of course, when the weather turns nice, the calendar is full of things to do and places to be.
