This Sunday, September 16, the Seekers Class invites everyone interested in joining them on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. as they explore new curriculum from the UCC, "Just Eating." This course is designed to help us pay attention to food and how we impact the world with our eating choices. It is a resource that examines four aspects of our lives with food: the health of our bodies, the access others have to food, the health of the earth, which our food choices influence and the ways we use food to extend hospitality and enrich relationships.
Third Sunday Potlucks also resume this Sunday! Make a recipe you've been wanting to try or prepare a tried and true favorite dish! Remember, the Fellowship Committee will help prepare your dish--just leave instructions and they will do the rest!
Youth Fellowship and parents will meet on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. to fill out paperwork and bake cookies for the bratwurst sale. Speaking of the bratwurst sale, help is needed that Saturday (Oct. 6) to make it a success. If you have time to help set up, tear down, or anytime in between, please let Elizabeth know.
Christian Ed. will meet on Monday at 7:00 p.m.
The Golden Singles meets on Tuesday, 11:30 a.m. at Dravenstott's.
The Carol Choir will begin rehearsals on Wednesday from 6:30-7:15. The Chancel choir follows at 7:30.
